    EBD Teaching Assistant

    Degree-Six Recruitment are seeking individuals with a desire to support children and young people with SEMH (Social emotional mental health) and EBD (Emotional Behaviour Difficulties) needs. The particular school we are working with is a specialist SEBD primary school. These roles are a great fit for individuals looking for flexible working hours a balanced work life balance. Degree-Six are able to accommodate both part-time and full-time work contracts to cater individual needs.

    About the roles:

    Successful candidates may be expected to work both on a 1:1 basis as well as in small groups with children with SEMH and behaviour needs.

    Support in the learning and development of students

    Offer wellbeing and pastoral support where needed

    Promote good choices

    Present a calm and caring nature when working with students that have challenging behaviour

    This role would suit individuals with a desire or experience working with students with SEND, SEMH needs or challenging behaviour.

    Desirable but not essential experience:

    Individuals that have a background in youth work, youth offenders service, child or adult psychology

    Team Teach training or certificate

    Driving licence
