PMLD Teacher

Do you have a desire to support Special needs students in schools?
Enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants are required to work within a SEND school in Rutland. This school specialises in teaching and supporting students with PMLD. This role is working on a long-term basis across both primary and secondary key stages. This role would suit an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with previous experience supporting students with PMLD.
These roles would be a great fit for individuals with the following experience:
Experience working within SEND schools or settings teaching children or young people
Knowledge or experience working with PMLD (Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties)
Experience working with students with challenging behaviour
Full driving licence (not essential)
Transferrable skills relevant to working within SEND settings
Role and responsibilities:
Adhering to Teacher lesson plans to support the learning and development of students
Working closely with Teaching Assistants in groups or on a 1:1 basis with students that require additional support in their learning
Promoting positive choices
Offer wellbeing support to students
