    DegreeSix are a SEND specialist agency that are working with a large SEND school that are seeking 4 Learning support assistants to join them from September 2021.

    This is a school that supports children with challenging Autism from the age 4 up to 11 years old.

    In these positions you will be required to work with a specific pupil or in small groups supporting the class teacher throughout the day. This school has limited outdoor facilities so you will also be visiting local outdoor areas once or twice a week with the pupils.

    It would be ideal if you possess Team Teach but it’s not essential for the position as they offer in house training after a qualifying period.

    If you have experience working with ASD, EBD, ADHD and Behavioural children then this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

    You will be required to work Monday to Friday with the start time being 8.30am and finishing around 3.20pm.

    What you will need to be successful!

    • Experience of working in a similar role
    • You will need have patients and resilience
    • Team Teach is desirable but not essential
    • DBS (online) or be willing to obtain one
    • 2 checkable references
