Degree-Six are currently looking for specialist SEND teaching assistants to work within our schools in the Leamington Spa area. We’re looking for passionate teaching assistants wishing to make a real difference to pupils’ learning. Degree Six specialise in SEND meaning we have various perm, temp and specialist roles so you would be working with a dedicated consultant, keen to help you secure your next opportunity!
Your new role
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Work both within small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Support pupils’ with learning disabilities
- Be reliable, approachable and able to work calmly under pressure
- Assist the class teacher whilst receiving their support and guidance
What you’ll need to succeed:
To be successful within the role, you will need:
- Experience of working within a similar setting
- Be able to communicate well whilst remaining positive
- Relevant qualifications (Team Teach desirable)
- A flexible approach to working
- A desire to enhance the lives of others through your work
