DegreeSix is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work within a school that cater for students with moderate to severe learning difficulties in Burton on Trent.

This role involves working closely with the teacher and other support staff to assist in the learning and development of students.

These roles are full time and can be permanent and contract.

These roles would be a great fit for individuals with the following experience:

Experience working within SEND schools or settings working with children or young people

Knowledge or experience working with MLD (moderate learning difficulties) and/or SLD (severe learning difficulties)

Experience working with students with challenging behaviour

Full driving licence (not essential)

Transferrable skills/experience relevant to working within SEND settings

Role and responsibilities:

Adhering to Teacher lesson plans to support the learning and development of students

Working closely with students in groups or on a 1:1 basis.

Promoting positive choices

Offer wellbeing support to students
