DegreeSix are searching for experienced Learning Support Assistant’s for a specialist SEN school local to Loughborough. This role is supporting pupil’s across Primary & Secondary with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND); Autism, ADHD, Learning Difficulties, Communication Difficulties.

This is a flexible role that allows you to work around your availability; Full or part-time hours available. You will always return to the SAME school.

The Role:

  • You’ll be assigned to a key class, alongside other support staff and a lead teacher, you will then work as a team to ensure all needs and learning objectives are met in class.
  • Working with children who need extra support with their academic and social skills, either in school or out in the community (building life and employability skills).
  • Presenting feedback/student progress to class teacher and parent.

To be successful:

  • SEN experience is preferred in a school or similar setting (children’s residential, youth work, Psychology degree etc)
  • Patience and passionate about supporting students with SEN
  • Ability to work within a team and contribute positively
